Keep your head – and eyes – up!

Looking up at the sky is a super simple activity enjoyed by all ages anywhere in nature. All you need for this experience is your sense of wonder and imagination. A blanket may be appreciated for adult and baby comfort but definitely not necessary for most kiddos!

All that’s needed is a spot outdoors to look up to the sky. Breathe deep. Notice the leaves blowing in the breeze or the dew on a spiderweb. Listen to a birdsong or the wind blowing in the tree branches. Look for shapes in trees, flowers, or clouds. Give thanks for the fresh air and beauty around and within you. During these challenging times, keep your head – and eyes – up! If you’re indoors, try opening a window and look out of it. Nature can be found just about anywhere.
